Title: A Corpus-Based Comparative Study of the Translators' Styles of Children's Literature —— A Case Study of Two Chinese Versions of Charlotte's Web 基于语料库的儿童文学译者风格对比研究——以《夏洛的网》两个汉译本为例 Name(s): An Shuang 安爽 Abstract: The translation of children's literature in China has been flourishing in recent years, while there are only a few studies of translators of children's literature, which may result in the low quality of the translation of children's literature. This paper takes the translation of the classic children's book Charlotte's Web as an example, conducting a detailed comparative study of the styles of Kang Xin and Ren Rong Rong in terms of vocabulary, syntax, and rhetoric through a corpus approach. The study found that Ren's translation embraces less information per unit of vocabulary, longer sentences on average, and more explicit phonological features. Kang's translation contains more information per unit of vocabulary and the language is more concise, condensed, and formal. 近年来国内儿童文学翻译实践一片繁荣，但针对儿童文学译者的研究却寥寥可数。译者研究的缺失容易诱发翻译乱象，造成儿童文学的翻译质量低下。本文以经典儿童文学作品《夏洛的网》两个汉译本为例，运用语料库方法从词汇、句法及修辞方面对康馨、任溶溶两位译者的风格进行细致的对比研究，以期为儿童文学翻译研究提供借鉴。研究发现，任译本平均单位词汇负载的信息较少，句长更长；同时具有更加显化的语音文体特征及“指小表爱”的语言表达。康译本平均单位词汇负载的信息更多，句长更短；语言简洁凝练；用语更为正式严肃。 Key words: translator's style; corpus; Ren Rongrong; Kang Xin; Charlotte's Web 译者风格；语料库；任溶溶；康馨；《夏洛的网》
