Nankongtong is also an important mountain range in Ganzhou City, which is full of wind and water. It winds from Nankang for dozens of miles and runs north between the two rivers of Zhanggong, serving as the county city's lookout mountain. South Kongtong is also the most beautiful mountain in the urban area of Ganzhou. According to King Yongfeng of the Qing Dynasty, "Qiancheng is a capital city, and the mountains and rivers are rich and beautiful." Yang Jie of the Qing Dynasty wrote a poem about Fengshan, "To love the beauty of Kongtong, it is a unique landmark." South Kongtong is a historical and cultural mountain representing Ganzhou, and a landmark that sits in Zhanggong, embraces Gannan, and overlooks the four provinces. Ming scholar Luo Chaoyun once said, "The record of Kongtong is the victory of Kongtong. The name of Kongtong shines in the annals of history, leaving no trace of the past." The natural environment of Southern Kongtong is so unique, and its historical and cultural heritage is so rich. It is a pity that for thousands of years, there has been no specialized record of Kongtong, and the related records are unclear, some are negative for the mountains and forests, while others are negative for the humanities. Today, the author describes its appearance, collects and hears it, and compiles it into the "Nankongtong Chronicle - Thousand Year Kongtong Gan Commandery Culture", which is the preservation and manifestation of our country's culture, at the cost of small efforts. 南崆峒也是赣州城风生水起的重要山峦，自南康数十里蜿蜒而来，章贡二水夹以北驰，为郡城望山。南崆峒也是赣州城区最美的山，清王原咏峰山云：“虔城一都会，山水富奇丽。”清杨玠有咏峰山诗云：“为爱崆峒秀，孤标绝一方。”南崆峒，一座代表赣州的历史文化名山，一座坐镇章贡、怀拥赣南、俯视四省的地标。明学者罗潮云：“崆峒志者，志崆峒之胜也。崆峒之名，甲寰宇而耀史册，逖古无论已。”南崆峒自然环境如此特别、历史文化如此丰富，惜千百年来，无一专籍以志之，相关志乘语焉不详，有负山林，有负人文迩矣。今笔者述其状貌，采录闻见，辑存散佚而成《南崆峒志——千年崆峒 赣郡文脉》，庶几为吾邦文脉之保存和彰显，不惜蚍蜉之微力矣。
