Author Biography
Cao Kaizhong, Associate Professor of Environmental Design Department of Communication University of China, Doctor of Architecture School in Tsinghua University. For a long time, he has been engaged in the design practice and theoretical research of design, architecture and digital media art, and his works have respectively won the 2017 Beijing International Design Week Award, the 12th China (Nanning) International Garden Expo Comprehensive Design Award, and been invited to participate in the 2019 Shenzhen Hong Kong City Architecture Twin Cities Biennale. He has published several papers in core journals such as Journal of Architecture, Architects, Chinese Gardens, Decoration, etc; Presided over 6 scientific research projects, including the Youth Fund for Humanities and Social Sciences of the Ministry of Education, the Beijing Youth Fund for Humanities and Social Sciences, and the 2019 Huilongguan Tiantongyuan District Urban Design Guidelines.
Book Description
Urban renewal is a key task in the field of urban construction determined by the 14th Five-Year Plan of China. This book is based on this important strategic country, taking the frontier field of digital media art as the breakthrough point, starting from new perspectives, methods and technologies, trying to establish a new methodology for urban renewal and design in China. For a long time, the research on urban renewal in China has existed in urban planning, urban management and other related disciplines.
